What is your Photography Experience?
I am a Professional, Award Winning Master Photographer, I have photographed many weddings over the years. Everything from a small civil service, right through to all day and night. No one wedding is any less special to the families involved and that is reflected in what we deliver to you. I would always recommend using a qualfied photographer from either the MPA or BIPP.
How many weddings do you photograph each year?
I tend to do around 10. The reason being is that I want to stay fresh and give my couples 100% attention for their weddings. For me, its about having the extra time to work with a couple to create something special.
Do you use sub-contractors?
No, I am the lead photographer on the day and my husband is my second shooter if required. We have always worked this way and do not intend to change.
I want a particular style of photography can you do that?
We design each wedding to your requirements (this is again why we limit the number of weddings, as it can take considerable time to plan). Our style is a mix of the traditional with a small number of groups, then a good splash of reportage, creating the story of the day and then finally we finish with your stunning bridal portraits. We feel that this gives a superb cross section of your day.
How much will it cost?
Its really important from the outset that you are honest with us about your budget. If you are looking for a full day wedding for a couple of hundred pounds, please don't read any further as we are not for you. Saying that, if you have a budget of around £1-1.5K we are certainly able to offer you the best packages around.
Do you charge travel expenses?
We try to keep our weddings local to Lancashire, however weddings outside the North West need to factor in 40p per mile travel and possibly overnight accommodation.
I want a disc of images?
All our 2011 packages come with a printable disc, full details are on the link above.
So what if I want an album?
This is where our service is very special and we only charge you the actual manufacturing cost price of an album - this will save you a small fortune as we can provide you with a stunning storybook album from as little as £250 - full details on are the link above.
I am interested what do I do next?
Please feel free to contact me, if you are emailing can you please give me as many details about your day as possible. In particular what "you" want from the day. Please also consider the prices outlined above, we do not bargain or offer budget weddings so if you are working to a set figure tell me (so I dont waste time packaging something you clearly can't afford). We put 100% into each wedding, all our couples are given the best photography and the best service. Please remember we only book 10 a year and 2011's diary is already booking well - so please dont delay!
How do we book?
To commission us to photograph your wedding is really very easy. Bookings can be taken in studio or over the phone. The first stage is to make contact and we can tell you if we are available. Because we limit the weddings we do a year, this does mean that we don't work every weekend of the month - that would lead to total burn out very quickly. We will provide you with a comprehensive quote for your day and further information on how we will work together. Completion of a MPA contract and booking fee is due at this time, this is a non-refundable fee but holds your date and quote exclusively for you. Over the coming months we can, if possible, arrange to meet at your wedding venue and plan your special day. Payment of the remainder of the wedding then comes in two installments, one a month prior to your wedding and the other at time of ordering your album - easy!
